AVAILABLE PUPPIES
On this page you will find available puppies. You will also find information of upcoming litters. If you have any questions about anything please feel free to send me an email!
If you are interested in a blue or isabella colored puppy, please learn about Color Dilution Alopecia (CDA). My blue/tan female and both of my males that carry isabella/tan have good coats. But that provides no guarantee for any blue and isabella puppies that they may produce. I have not yet bred for either color to determine the outcome of produced pups.
Prices and payment options information can be found on the Prices & Shipping Page. Payment installment plans are not available.
What size will your puppy grow to be?
I cannot guarantee you a final adult weight of a puppy. I advise you to look at the weight of the father and of the mother. Generally the puppies adult weight will be anywhere between that of the two parents. What I can do is tell you which puppy is the smallest in the litter and which are the largest. That can help decide who may be likely to grow to the mother's size and who may grow to be more like the father's size. Some of my breedings produce true "mini" Dachshunds and some produce the "tweenie" size (13-16 pounds). All parents have a weight listed with their pictures.
When can you visit the puppies?
When they are 3 weeks old. The mothers are quite protective of their young babies and get very stressed when their puppies are removed and with the presence of strangers. A stressed mother can make for a nervous mother. You may think that viewing them real quick just one time shouldn't be a problem. But keep in mind, you are not the only one interested in seeing them. It might be 10 people that want to come see them. So please do not ask to come see them any sooner. 3 weeks is when I will welcome people for viewing.
If you have arranged to come see the puppies I do ask that one week before your visit you refrain from visiting any pet shops, shelters, or other public or private facilities with dogs/puppies. There are some diseases that can be carried on your clothing and shoes that can be deadly to young puppies. If you are already aware that you have indeed come into contact with an ill puppy/dog then please notify me of this first!
Please note that the puppy you may be interested in may no longer be available by the time they reach 3 weeks, as sometimes they do become spoken for without being viewed.
Choosing your puppy-
Puppies are sold on a first come/first serve basis to those with approved applications.
Puppies will not be held for anyone until viewing age, though I will hold it the day before and day of your scheduled appointment to allow reasonable time for planning and travel. Some of the puppies are spoken for without being viewed in person. If the puppy you think you may be interested in is still available at 3 weeks of age then you are free to come see it. Therefore, if you are CERTAIN that you want to purchase a specific puppy then I advise you to notify me of that as soon as possible so that I may label him as "SOLD". A definite sale will take precedence over a scheduled visit to simply view. There are a lot of people who are simply "window shoppers", so I hope you can understand this rule. Thank you.
As of this time I do not require deposits. I simply ask that if you have chosen a puppy and for whatever reason have changed your mind, that you send me an email promptly to let me know so that I may change his status from sold to available again. Those who fail to do this will be placed on a list and not be considered for any future puppy purchase.
ANYONE WISHING TO PURCHASE A PUPPY MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. NO SALES OUTSIDE OF UNITED STATES. THANK YOU!
